Spring has officially sprung! While the weather can make it challenging to figure out how to dress from day to day, we always love the sense of renewal that comes with spring. As avid gardeners, we love to walk around the yard and see what new things have sprouted each day. The landscape can seem totally different from one moment to the next, and a watchful eye can see little bits of joy that you may have never noticed before. It's a nice reminder to be fully present as you experience days, weeks, and seasons.
This month, a group of our instructors will represent the studio at the annual Association of Women Martial Arts Instructors conference, "Teaching the Teacher." This is a wonderful shared growth opportunity for our instructors, and we're excited to bring our learning back to you! The studio will be closed from Friday, April 10 through Monday, April 13, with regular classes resuming on Tuesday, April 14. If you normally attend classes on a day when we'll be closed, feel free to attend any other day that works for you.
Read on for other great events happening in April, including National High Five Day, Game Day, and a new SETpoint self-defense offering. In addition, please remember that we are shifting to all black uniforms, including black t-shirts (Black Belts may mix the colors of their gi as appropriate to rank). If you have questions about this, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for being part of our community!
