It's March and Spring is just around the corner! As the world around us renews and comes back to life, this is a great time to bring something new to your practice.
Consider practicing one technique, kempo, or form each day to work toward remembering it and improving technique.
Try writing down your techniques as a way of committing them to memory (#6 block, right forearm strike, right back-two-knuckle strike, cross and cover—the first White Belt kempo!).
Have a family member or friend take a video of what you're working on in class so you can reference it when you practice at home.
There's no single way to practice, so be creative! Practice—in whatever ways work for you—is the most important thing.
Speaking of new opportunities to practice, this month we're adding a Tigers class at 4pm to our Tuesday schedule. The new Tuesday schedule begins March 7th:4 pm – Tigers5 pm – Dragons6 pm – Jr. Adults
And it's not too early to start planning for Summer! Registration is open for our Summer Camp for Kids (June 19–23) as well as our Summer Camp for Adults (August 4–6). See below for more details. Spots are filling up, so reserve yours today!
